The new LaLiga logo for 2023-2024 is an embodiment of the continuous growth and evolution of the Spanish football league and its history. It features a classic minimalistic approach to the design, with a deep blue to represent the league’s dedication to excellence. On the top is a cobalt triangle, traditionally used to distinguish the La Liga shield from the other leagues, and this triangle has been used in the badge since 2016. Below the triangle are two unique shapes in a vertical direction. The first one is a rectangle, which was inspired by the oldest logo and has been used since 1928 to represent the competition's origins, while the second one is a hexagon which serves as a distinct symbol that represents the 21st century’s Spanish clubs. In the center is a golden star, the shape of which is a nod to the laurel wreath often given to the champions of a sports league, and it is intertwined with two yellow diamonds to represent the wealth and glamour of the league and its players. In the background stands a bold typeface that is used across all of LaLiga's branding. The new logo is an homage to all the players and teams that have made LaLiga what it is today and carries a deeper meaning with its shapes and colours. With the help of this logo, LaLiga is sure to remain as the world’s most popular football league as it continues to grow and gain traction from fans across the world.
